We are on the hunt for a customer-focused and driven Field Service Fitter to join our award-winning team in Mt Isa. This role offers a fantastic work life balance with permanent 7/7 or 8/6 Day shift rosters with FIFO options also available. As a Field Service Fitter, you will:
Provide maximum satisfaction to our customers by ensuring all maintenance and repairs are carried out to the highest possible standard. Research and consult the correct and latest service information systems for specific procedures, instructions, and specifications. Take all reasonable steps to ensure that assigned tasks are free of faulty workmanship assuring quality in the finished product. Ensure repairs are carried out using the appropriate control guidelines to ensure that rework jobs do not occur. Ensure all assigned tasks are completed within required target times. Ensure that the customer is part of the decision process on large dollar value item repair or replacement and is kept informed of all matters in relation to the job, including job progress. Support the sale of genuine parts, and when requested, give guidance and advice to the customer on the supply of genuine parts. Why Hastings Deering?

A successful teammate will have experience in:
Relevant Trade qualification. Industry experience in earthmoving, construction, quarrying, and open cut mining. Well-developed communication and customer service skills. The ability to work autonomously and as a team as required. Demonstrated and proven ability with electronic devices. Experience on Caterpillar Diagnostic and information systems (ET, Vims, SIMSi, and SIS). Commitment to a high level of workplace health and safety.
