Our company has built a global reputation for quality and innovation and is looking for an enthusiastic Field Service Engineer – Mechanical (Land-Based) to join our team, with a focus on our land-based applications.
Your role As a Land-Based Service Engineer, you will be a vital part of our team, collaborating with internal departments and providing technical support and service to our customers. You'll specialize in Twin Disc's land-based transmission systems and off-highway products, becoming the expert on our cutting-edge and legacy equipment used in industrial, agricultural, and construction applications.
You will play a crucial role in analyzing and resolving technical issues. You will supervise and perform overhauls, product installations, and commissioning. You will also develop and provide technical training to familiarize customers with our products. You will coordinate the creation of source material for new service manuals, review existing manuals, and write technical publications. You will answer service emails, create service calls and reports, and document field activities. You will also initiate field investigations and follow up on actions to effectively resolve issues, with the goal of ensuring customer satisfaction and optimal product performance.

You have a Mechanical Engineering degree or an equivalent European diploma. You have experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Teams. You have a good command of the English and preferably the Dutch language. You possess strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. Knowledge of gearing, clutches, electronics, hydraulics, and system processes is a plus. Travelling is required for customer visits and to Twin Disc entities, both nationally and internationally, up to 35% of the time.
