We are exclusively partnering with our client and are currently looking for a Field Service Controller to join their team on a temporary basis for 8-12 months. As a Field Service Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring their service operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the booking, scheduling, and allocation of service and maintenance jobs in the field. You will be the backbone of their service department, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence. We are ideally looking for someone who can start immediately.
Key Responsibilities -
Service Coordination: Manage and coordinate breakdown and repair responses, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolutions Job Logging: Record all jobs from breakdown emails, customer calls, and internal instructions Scheduling: Ensure all service jobs are booked and completed within daily and weekly KPI requirements Support Field Service Staff: Maintain after-hours duty technician roster, assist technicians with job planning and information, and monitor their effectiveness Customer Contact: Arrange PM servicing, handle invoice queries, and update customer details in their ERP system Administrative Duties: Raise purchase orders, maintain electronic filing systems, and assist with new customer account setups Safety Compliance: Promote and adhere to safety standards, report accidents and incidents, and support safety initiatives General Duties: Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required by the Field Service Manager
About You -
Direct customer contact in sales/service roles in the past, as well as service and parts operation experience is ideal Intermediate computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, as well as experience using ERP systems (M3 & SAP) Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and high attention to detail Proven ability to resolve problems effectively and show resilience
