Field Sampling Technician

Job Description Join our team as a Field Sampling Technician in Melbourne or Chinchilla, VIC.
This role involves interstate travel and requires driving a manual vehicle.
You'll conduct sampling and monitoring (gas, water, soil, air, waste, and occupational hygiene) while supporting field services development aligned with the Environmental business plan.
Collaborate with the Australian Field Services Manager to plan and perform activities.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to: Undertake field sampling activities throughout Australia as required in accordance with Company procedures.
Maintain sampling equipment as required ensuring it is correctly serviced, repaired and properly calibrated with appropriate documentation.
Build and maintain good working relationships with all clients.
Undertake quoting and project management of field programs Permit applications and HSE documentation for field access Assist with client enquiries Checking of reports and results prior to release to clients Qualifications Minimum 2 years of field related experience Understanding of laboratory practices Current first aid certificate Current unrestricted manual drivers licence Additional Information WHY WORK FOR SGS?
