We want to engage and empower our diverse, global team to co-create value with our customers through our solutions in contract logistics and air, ocean, ground, and finished vehicle transport.YOUR ROLEWe are seeking an experienced business development / sales professional in airfreight and oceanfreight to join the CEVA Business Development team as Field Sales Manager, based from our Pinkenba QLD offices.
Your primary focus in the role will be to promote CEVA's range of competitive and tailored solutions to prospective customers, winning new business from lead generation through to close of contract.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Specifically, you will:Prospect and qualify leads from internal and external sources, through your own networks and others.Develop pricing, service and product strategies to deliver innovative solutions to our customers.Prepare and present proposals to customers; prepare and analyse customer sales strategies.Coordinate and effectively communicate with colleagues across field sales, operations, and international offices for quotations and business issues.Ensure prospect and opportunity pipelines have sufficient revenue to drive an outcome that shows relevant financial growth.Complete sales administration tasks in our CRM to manage calendar, customer accounts, contacts and opportunities.Work with sales and operational staff in other product lines to promote cross-sell opportunities.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Our ideal candidate has solid experience gained in a sales / business development role within air or ocean.
