Field Research Officer - NSW - Ulladulla Roy Morgan is proud to announce the Domestic Tourism Statistics study funded by the Federal Government department of Austrade. This is a significant project for Roy Morgan, and this is your chance to be part of it.
The Domestic Tourism Statistics (DoTS) survey measures domestic travel across Australia. We'll capture survey data by asking respondents about their recent trips and experiences. This data contributes to the Australian National Accounts and helps drive the future of Australia's tourism industry.
As a Field Research Officer, you will undertake professional data collection (including observations and interviewing) with neutrality in asking questions and gathering responses. You will engage with people from all walks of life, helping them understand the importance of participating in the survey and asking relevant questions.
You will need to be available to work 20+ hours per week, including weekdays and weekends, for at least 3 weeks out of each month. There are opportunities to work on a range of projects, and flexibility in managing your own workload.
To be a successful Field Research Officer you will:
Enjoy engaging with, and able to relate to, people from diverse backgrounds. Have market research interviewing experience or equivalent customer engagement experience. Be professional, possess mature social skills, and have a high level of integrity. Be available to work 20+ hours per week, including weekdays and weekends. Hold a valid driver's licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle. Hold a National Police Check (or willingness to obtain). Have fluent English language proficiency (spoken and written). Have a legal right to work in Australia. This opportunity suits individuals with research interviewing experience or similar skills in teaching, training, HR, performing arts, retail, or call centres. Successful applicants will have the potential to earn great rates:
$34.19 p/h $0.95 per kilometre for use of your own vehicle (where applicable) Reimbursement for job-related expenses and application fees for required checks.
