WHAT YOU'LL DOWork within a dynamic team of multidisciplinary engineers, specialists and technicians throughout the life of AUV design, integration, and test effortsPrepare for field deployments by identifying, sourcing and kitting AUV test and support equipmentCoordinate and support deployment logisticsSupport risk assessments for test and related operations, identifying and implementing mitigationsInstall systems in surrogate field test assets and operate to gather design-shaping dataSupport development, review and trials of Standard Operating Procedures and user documentation for all aspects of AUV operationsConduct daily AUV inspections and system checks before and after operationsExecute day-to-day test operations for AUVs, following approved test proceduresPerform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and upgrades of AUVs in the fieldCoordinate AUV launch and recovery evolutionsAuthor detailed daily operations and test reportsSupport software UI design for AUV systemsProvide constructive feedback to design and manufacturing teamsBe in the field 60%+ of the time, supporting nearshore and offshore testingREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES4+ years experience in production-oriented robotics and or electro-mechanical technician fieldsMaritime Trade background is desirable as well as subsea experience or autonomous vehicle operation (any domain)Proficiency in interpreting technical documentation (mechanical drawings, work instructions, equipment schematics, electrical diagrams, etc.)Experience performing functional checkouts and tests, and diagnosing issues discovered during these processesExtremely organized and detail-orientedExtreme comfort being offshore for extended periods of timeA sincere commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative cultureAbility to obtain and maintain a NV2 Security ClearanceAnduril is an equal-opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
