WHAT YOU'LL DO
Work within a dynamic team of multidisciplinary engineers, specialists and technicians throughout the life of AUV design, integration, and test efforts
Prepare for field deployments by identifying, sourcing and kitting AUV test and support equipment
Coordinate and support deployment logistics
Support risk assessments for test and related operations, identifying and implementing mitigations
Install systems in surrogate field test assets and operate to gather design-shaping data
Support development, review and trials of Standard Operating Procedures and user documentation for all aspects of AUV operations
Conduct daily AUV inspections and system checks before and after operations
Execute day-to-day test operations for AUVs, following approved test procedures
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and upgrades of AUVs in the field
Coordinate AUV launch and recovery evolutions
Author detailed daily operations and test reports
Support software UI design for AUV systems
Provide constructive feedback to design and manufacturing teams
Be in the field 60%+ of the time, supporting nearshore and offshore testing
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES
4+ years experience in production-oriented robotics and or electro-mechanical technician fields
Maritime Trade background is desirable as well as subsea experience or autonomous vehicle operation (any domain)
Proficiency in interpreting technical documentation (mechanical drawings, work instructions, equipment schematics, electrical diagrams, etc.)
Experience performing functional checkouts and tests, and diagnosing issues discovered during these processes
Maritime/forklift/crane qualifications desirable, not essential
Extremely organized and detail-oriented
Extreme comfort being offshore for extended periods of time
Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Ability to obtain and maintain a NV2 Security Clearance
