This opportunity will also include managing new projects as the company continues to grow.The RoleAs the Field Operations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing projects from start to finish, mentoring a talented team, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Reporting directly to the Company Director, you'll act as the key on-site representative, collaborating with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.Key Responsibilities include:Lead and oversee the development, preparation, and installation of irrigation projects, including:Agricultural systemsDrip line irrigation systemsPump stationsPipeline installationTrenching and excavationManage, train, and motivate a team of skilled operators, providing hands-on support.Procure and manage project equipment and parts, ensuring smooth operations.Coordinate contractors, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.Monitor and maintain high-quality standards for all site operations.Keep meticulous daily records of all site activities and ensure proper maintenance of tools, plant, and equipment.Enforce adherence to safety systems and compliance protocols.For a full list of responsibilities, a position description can be provided upon request.About YouYou're an experienced professional with a passion for irrigation and agriculture, paired with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Whether your expertise lies in agriculture or the civil/resources sector, you are committed to quality, safety, and innovation.Key Attributes include:Proven experience in developing and installing irrigation systems.Solution-oriented mindset with a knack for innovative thinking.Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with diverse teams.Versatile technical skills, including basic maintenance and machinery operation.Excellent planning and record-keeping skills, with proficiency in digital tools.Hands-on experience with agricultural/civil machinery (Excavator, Skid Steer, Trencher, Tractor, etc.
).HR/HC truck license (highly desirable but not essential).Full Australian working rights.This role operates on a 2-week on / 1-week off roster to support operational demands.
