It expands existing infrastructure at Mining Area C, adding 80 Mtpa of new crushing and screening capacity, an extensive overland conveyor system, expanded stockyards and new train loading facilities to form the largest iron ore hub in the Pilbara region. Its brand new mining fleet is the biggest and best in class, and has been converted to autonomous operation, in line with South Flank's future-facing design.The Field Officer is responsible for the effective operation of Autonomous Haulage System (AHS), Fleet Management System (FMS) and the Autonomous Haul Trucks (AHTs) whilst in autonomous mode, to ensure the AHTs can travel throughout the mine plan safely and productively.
