About The Role

The Lord Howe Island Board is seeking Field Officers to join various departments within the organization. These roles are vital to maintaining the islands unique environment and infrastructure, contributing to conservation efforts, and ensuring the continued provision of essential services to both the local community and visitors.

Field Officers are involved in a diverse range of responsibilities, including waste and water management, construction, maintenance, and improvements to island facilities and grounds. This work covers areas such as the aerodrome, buildings, roads, public areas, fences, and walking tracks
