Field Officer

Protech are currently recruiting for Field Officers to work across the Gold Coast with the Fire Ant Program through Biosecurity Queensland. This is an ongoing position and will require thorough and effective surveillance and treatment of insect pests through the Gold Coast. Benefits: • Long term, ongoing roles • Great pay rates- $33 + per hour • 9-day fortnight • Uniform, PPE and vehicle during work hours provided Key Duties: • Visual surveillance and bait treatment for insects • Daily reporting tasks, data collection and record keeping • Walking 10km+ every day in hot weather conditions Mandatory Position Requirements: • Open car licence • Ability to work in a team environment • Outdoor work experience • Customer service experience desirable • Must be physically fit as the role requires substantial walking through challenging terrain • Pass a drug and alcohol screen If you are interested in this role, please hit the APPLY button now!
