About the RoleAs a Field Officer, you will be responsible for inspecting and supervising regulated crops, including poppies, industrial hemp, and genetically modified canola in Northwest Tasmania. A typical day in this role includes:
Planning your week ahead based on paddock inspections.Engaging with farmers and industry representatives.Traveling to inspection sites to conduct audit and compliance inspections.Administrative functions including preparing reports, data entry, and conducting desktop assessments.This is primarily a field-based position. While there is office space available via hot desk, staff will generally work from home when not undertaking inspections. You will be required to regularly travel all over the agricultural region of the Northwest coast. You will garage a work vehicle at home.

Hours per Fortnight73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
