Our low carbon vision targets 10% renewable gas in our distribution networks by no later than 2030, with full decarbonisation of our networks by 2040 as a stretch target and by no later than 2050.About the OpportunityAGIG is seeking expressions of interest for Field Maintenance Officers in Electrical and Instrumentation with knowledge and experience in renewable gas. The role supports the company's Vision and Values and provides a solution for reliable and safe facility operation, focusing on key areas to deliver a cost-effective, efficient, and reliable service that ensures quality outcomes. Working with the public and responding to breakdowns and emergencies is a critical function of the role.Key Responsibilities:Perform assigned and corrective maintenance at hydrogen production facilities in a manner that ensures safety and reliability in operation for AC power systems, DC power systems, process controllers, electrolyser packages, air compressors, pumps, fans, instrumentation, valve controls, pressure control, overpressure protection, gas measurement, gas analysis, fire and gas detection, coolers, water treatment, filtration, purification, gas storage, communications, and general site maintenance.Operate hydrogen production facilities efficiently and safely.Provide site tours in a professional manner that ensures equipment and visitor safety.Respond to plant failures in a timely and efficient manner.Assess the priority of assigned work to elevate critical tasks, thus minimizing asset reliability risk.Be available for after-hours breakdown response for emergencies and faults across our Australia-wide assets.About You:Maintenance experience in the gas industry, specifically in planned and reactive maintenance practices at hydrogen production facilities.Ability to take on responsibility and work autonomously.Electrical Trade Certificate.Certificate 3 or Certificate 4 in Instrumentation.EEHA Inspection Qualified.Understanding of gas production facilities, specifically hydrogen.What We Offer:We are proud to be recognised as an inclusive employer by Diversity Council Australia, and our commitment to diversity and inclusion has earned us recognition in 2023-2024.
