About the Role:
Our client, a leader in advanced satellite technology, is seeking a Maintenance Field Service Representative (FSR) to join their team in Wagga Wagga. This position is essential to maintaining and servicing a sophisticated satellite ground station that supports critical government operations. The FSR will collaborate closely with the Site Manager, maintenance team, and program partners to ensure optimal performance, safety, and client satisfaction. This role involves overseeing corrective and preventative maintenance activities, implementing service improvement initiatives, and upholding the highest standards of quality for our government client.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the main point of contact for the government client, providing timely resolutions for maintenance issues and ensuring a positive client experience.Advise on and coordinate preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.Organise and lead regular service reviews to evaluate and improve ongoing support, ensuring alignment with client requirements.Oversee and coordinate with contractors for equipment calibrations and other specialized maintenance tasks.Handle any client concerns professionally and promptly to maintain strong, positive relationships.Ensure that effective systems and processes are in place to meet contract deliverables and maintain compliance.Analyse service trends, develop improvement plans, and drive initiatives to enhance team performance and client satisfaction.Prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities, calibration results, and system performance for internal and client stakeholders.Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to respond to urgent maintenance needs and ensure continuous system availability.Requirements:
Expertise in satellite communications and related best practices, including incident and problem management.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and team members.Ability to motivate, guide, and coordinate team members, ensuring a collaborative approach to achieving high service standards.Skilled in managing multiple objectives and resources to ensure timely project completion and goal achievement.Analytical skills to address complex technical issues, determine root causes, and devise rapid, effective solutions.A proactive approach to identifying areas for enhancement in processes, efficiency, and service delivery.Must be an Australian citizen with an active or recently held NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance.Why Join:
