Field Hydrogeologist

What are you going to do: Assist with Hydro-drilling supervision including well design, drill logging, and pump testingPerform Field geochemical measurementsAssist with Safety inspections and daily reportingAssist with Water balance computation and aquifer conceptualizationGet involved with Pit dewatering planning and numerical modelingField hydrogeology investigation - measurements and samplingProvide Data collation and QA analysis of early interpretations (test data)Work closely with the Drilling teamIntroduction: Brunel Energy is seeking a Hydrogeologist to join our client's site-based team. Ideal candidates have experience in contaminated land, environmental assessments, or a geology background. Field experience is preferred, but on-the-job training and support will be provided. This role will be a 3-6-month contract with a possible extension.
Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off (FIFO from Perth)
Hours: 12-hour shifts
Essential skills and knowledge: A strong commitment to safety on-siteExperience with Logging Hydro Samples (or RC Chips)A Qualification in Geology or HydrogeologyStrong Communication skills and ability to get on well with othersExperience in a FIFO role will be highly regardedPrevious experience working in a rural environment will be highly regarded#J-18808-Ljbffr
