Field Technician/ Hardware Technician/Customer Engineer
Location - CairnsContract Role (Adhoc/Part-time)
Rate - $30/hour - $35/hour + Super About our client:

Ideal candidate:
You will have experience with POS, Self-check outs or someone with a strong IT hardware background who is based in Cairns or nearby area. You are someone who enjoys field service
Key responsibilities: Diagnosing and repairing equipment which may include ATM's Self-checkout systems, POS Terminals and Networking equipmentParts Management and organisationContinuous training online and face-to-faceWork Autonomously in the field and officeResponding to all customer concerns or problems by resolving them or by escalating them to the proper associate, team member, territory manager, or the Control TowerKey requirements: Strong hardware skills and an understanding of what field service entails is a must.Previous experience with POS/ Self checkouts- installation / repair / maintenance/ATM repair would be idealHands on hardware and repair experience is a mustGood experience with troubleshooting is a mustPrior experience with touch screens, printers, cash drawer, eftpos devices is good but not essentialGood mechanical aptitude and excellent customer service skillsAble to work autonomously, professionally and be an excellent communicatorStrong Customer service skillsOwn vehicle and current driver's licenseThe flexibility to rotate working hours with other team members if required is criticalDue to customer on site requirements, full vaccination against Covid 19 is essential to be considered for this role.If you are looking for your next assignment, click on the APPLY NOW tab and send through an updated copy of your cv as well as a cover letter detailing recent experience immediately.
