About the role We are seeking experienced Excavator/Drill Fitters to join our Lake Vermont Project. As our next Excavator/Drill Fitter reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
As an Excavator/Drill Fitter,you willbe requiredto:
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on excavators and drills to ensure optimal functionality and safetyDiagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform troubleshooting, and execute necessary repairs.Perform scheduled servicing and inspections according to manufacturer specifications.Replace parts, components, and systems as needed to maintain equipment performance and reliability.Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient workflow and minimal equipment downtime.Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations.About you Mechanical/Diesel Fitting trade qualificationProven experience as an Excavator/Drill Fitter or similar role in the construction or mining industryLiebherr excavators, Sandvik and Epiroc drill experiences desirableEnthusiastic attitude & high performing work ethicProficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong commitment to workplace safety and cultureCurrent Drivers LicenceWhy work for Thiess Lake Vermont?
