Looking for your next career move? 2XM Recruit are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join an established company working on air powered equipment. Your role will involve the servicing and commissioning of diesel driven air compressors and providing solutions to customers.
Whats on offer? $50-53 p/h + OT paid at Penalties Workshop located in Smithfield - Field Service role Full-time permanent role Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Company vehicle provided Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on air powered equipment, diesel generators, and air compressors. Conduct commissioning of new equipment, ensuring it meets operational standards and customer requirements. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in a timely and efficient manner. Provide technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of equipment. Maintain detailed service records and documentation. Collaborate with the service team to improve service processes and customer satisfaction. Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times. Travel to customer sites as required. About you: Trade qualified in related field Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role, preferably in the industrial or mechanical sector. Strong knowledge of air powered equipment, diesel generators, and air compressors. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
