Field Engineer (Contract)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Field Engineer on a contract basis to support our on-site technical operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to work independently to resolve issues and ensure project success.

Responsibilities: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for installations, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems. Perform the installation of engineering systems and ensure they are configured for optimal performance. Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs to keep equipment in excellent working condition. Diagnose and resolve technical problems swiftly to minimize downtime and maintain project timelines. Calibrate engineering equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including reports, checklists, and maintenance logs. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience as a Field Engineer or in a similar technical role, preferably in the specific industry [e.g., telecommunications, construction, IT, etc.]. Skills Required: Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with relevant equipment and systems. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
