Lyka Smith is an innovative and established Australian medical device company supplying devices for craniofacial applications throughout sites across Australia.Due to business expansion, there currently exists an opportunity for a new Field Clinical Engineer within the organization. The business has been experiencing consistent growth levels over the past few years.LOCATIONJOB DESCRIPTIONFantastic opportunity for a Biomedical Engineer to join a leading company specializing in Cranio & Maxillofacial & trauma products, including cancer and reconstruction. The successful specialist will be tasked with providing support and growing the business in the VIC region. The ideal candidate would come from Craniofacial or Dental engineering, clinical support, or sales background and have a strong understanding of human anatomy.This role requires someone who is outgoing, highly motivated, and driven to succeed. We require a Field Clinical Engineer to proactively maintain and grow the VIC territory. Dealing with surgeons, the successful applicant will become an expert in Cranio & Maxillofacial related products. The role will be conducted in the hospital environment. Proven sales experience is essential. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.REQUIREMENTSA Field Clinical Engineer at Lyka Smith will work collaboratively with our Territory Manager and engineers, providing them with support with their cases. As they gain experience, develop relationships, and gain confidence, a Field Clinical Engineer at Lyka Smith will attend their own in-theatre cases.To be considered, you will need to have:A clinical background in nursing, physiotherapy, biomedical engineering, or similar field or other relevant experience - necessary.Demonstrated in-theatre experience - highly desirable.A desire to grow professionally in the craniomaxillofacial/orthopaedic/medical devices sector.Flexibility and availability outside of normal business hours to support customers and being on-call to support them.Resilience and comfortable working autonomously.Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.A valid current driver's licence and the right to work in Australia.BENEFITSCompetitive remuneration package for the right candidate up to $85,000 + Super + Car Allowance.
