About the role We have a newly vacant Field Analytics Manager role in our growing Environmental & Industrial Group. Our Environmental & Industrial Group contributes to Urban Utilities' purpose and vision by protecting the environment and public health through our core treatment services; being prepared for the future through the treatment solutions and growth opportunities of tomorrow; and enabling economic growth and prosperity through our customer and developer services.
The purpose of this role is to Enrich Quality of Life through leading a team of highly skilled technical officers that manage the selection, logistics, analytics, installation, maintenance, and data associated with a wide range of field sampling and remote monitoring systems.
This role creates value through partnering and collaborating with internal and external customers to ensure ongoing operational efficiency and compliance with environmental and product quality objectives.
Some of your accountabilities will include:
Monitor and review performance against HS&E KPIs, and patterns of behaviour within the area of responsibility; Take action improve performance and to resolve non-compliance with the organization's HS&E policies, procedures and mandatory instructions.Manage relationships with clients and act as a business partner to them, building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust, and managing the deployment of appropriate internal and/or external resources to support them in delivering their business strategy and plans.Communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the Field Analytics team; explain the relationship to the broader organisation's mission, vision and values; motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.Ensure that business activities within the area of responsibility comply with relevant external regulatory and/or voluntary codes and with internal policies and procedures to minimize business risk and to protect the reputation of the organization.About You We are seeking candidates who are passionate about shaping our future, and ideally have the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:
Previous experience in field analytics experience around the selection, logistics, analytics, installation, maintenance and data associated with a wide range of field sampling and remote monitoring systems.You are a natural collaborator and enjoy meaningfully engaging with stakeholder groups to collaborate and align on key Environmental Solutions objectives.You are a human-centric leader with a growth mindset, who supports and instils their team with energy and confidence to learn from both success and failures.Familiarity with associated regulatory frameworks to ensure that Urban Utilities is adhering to prescribed environmental compliance requirements.At UU, we celebrate diversity.
