We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated agronomist with a field trial background and exceptional people, time and program management skills.

The role itself? Reporting to the National Field Program Manager, the successful candidate will:
Collaborate with the agronomy team and external parties to design, implement, and evaluate field trials
Assist in the establishment, monitoring and data collection of greenhouse trials
Conduct intensive soil sampling campaigns for small plot trials
Collect and record data on crop growth, pest and disease incidence, and environmental factors
Frequent monitoring and management of crop health, irrigation, and fertilisation to ensure optimal growth of our field trials
Prepare reports and presentations summarising trial results and findings.
What kind of person will fit the role? The successful applicant will have a range of the following:
Bachelor's degree in agriculture, agronomy, or soil science
Experience with Australian wheat, barley and canola systems
Strong understanding of agronomic principles and soil fertility management
Knowledge of greenhouse and small plot trial methodologies
Familiarity with soil sampling techniques and laboratory analysis
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and research findings
