We pride ourselves on high-quality workmanship and professional services and employ staff from a range of trade backgrounds with various building industry affiliations to support the diverse needs of our industry.About the Role:Apply and fix plasterboard partitions, suspended ceilings, fire rating systems, acoustic tiles, and composite wall linings to buildings, and apply decorative and protective coverings of plaster, cement, and similar materials to the interiors and exteriors of structures.Duties include, but are not limited to:Studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions, and installation procedures; familiar with flushing process.Determining plasterboard layout, and installing insulation and vapour barriers.Measuring, marking, and cutting plasterboard, lifting and positioning panels, and securing them to walls, ceilings, and battens.Correctly mixing flushing compounds using a power mixer.Installing joint tapes to plasterboard joints.Covering joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds, and smoothing them using flushing tools.Installing external and internal angle beads to plasterboard wall and ceiling.Sanding plasterboard joints to make joints flat with plasterboard using electrical sanding tools and sanding blocks.Fixing pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings, ceiling centres, and other plaster fittings.Plumbing and straightening corners, angles, and wall and ceiling surfaces.Applying and finishing acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement, and similar materials.Requirements:Over 2 years of relevant experience.Performing general physical activities.Coordinating the work and activities of others.Ability to work under pressure.Organisational and time management skills.Initiative.Communicating with supervisors, peers, or subordinates.Updating and using relevant knowledge.Communicating with different background team members.Full Time hours: (38 ordinary hours/wk + 7 hrs guaranteed overtime/wk)Annual Salary: $27 - $45 per/hr depending on experienceMinimum $73,500 + Super
