Key Accountabilities include:
Fabricating/welding steel as per drawings and specifications.
Install prefabricated structures and components for Industrial and commercial purposes (Site crew only).
Repair boilers.
Join fabrications to form metal structures.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Load and unload equipment and materials.
Use hand and power tools and heavy machinery.
Follow written and verbal instructions from managers/supervisors.
Qualifications and Skills:
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Attention to detail.
Knowledge of Safe working practices.
Collaborate with co-workers and with strong interpersonal skills.
Communicate effectively and have strong verbal communication skills.
Learn quickly with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending, and lifting.
Willingness to work overtime if required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Relevant Trade Qualification.
Additional qualifications or experience that are preferred but not essential:
Confined space Working at Heights Rigging or Dogging Licence Forklift EWP Experience in Heavy industrial work sites.
