About the Role: The role is responsible for Commencial and Industrial logistics management operations, in support to the business needs.
Main Responsibilities: Ensure the proper Commercial Logistic Network strategy, consistent and aligned with business needs for the strategic planning horizon
Anticipate logistics impacts based on scenario planning, providing structured and realistic solutions to put in place
Supervise the proper execution to assure business excellence in costs and deliveries
Own the global logistics Dashboard and relevant KPIs costs, deliveries, safety,...(SQCDME)
Optimize logistic operations (warehousing and transport) to reduce costs and optimize service in a lean manner Improve processes and ways of working, with active participation in the professional families in logistics
Interact with Region / Area / Group in continuous improvements and acts as the SMEon logistics for the Region
Define and put in place strategy and actions on sustainability and environmental improvements
Assure proper processes and execution on People and Food Safety across the entire network
Ensure IT strategy on systems and ERP are well in place, covering all the logistic requirements
Supervise, coordinate and support Commercial Logistics in budgeting, negotiation and agreement activities
Define Commercial and Plant Logistics Supply Chain budget / ensure minimal deviation vs actual (budget ownership) with clear assumptions and scenarios
Lead the definition and negotiation of agreements/contracts together with Supply Chain Procurement for logistic services
Manage production planning, supply planning, controlling and other respective matters and functions
Participate in Plant governance and play a strong role in the leadership team
Ensure the safety and be fully responsible for a safe work environment at any time, implementing group procedures and risk assessment
Guarantee full traceability from inbound to Production (and vice-versa) together with the Quality team
Lead projects across different areas of improvements, CAPEX and OPEX, FOX (SIM, KPI, KK, PSG), warehouse, as well as in Environment improvements around waste / disposal/ CO2
Coordinate logistic flows from warehouses to lines, by planning and managing spaces and resources
Ensure a proper inventory execution, stock level and documentation on packaging and optimizes deliveries for raw materials, pack and finish products flows inside and outside of the plant (export countries)
Organize the operators shift within the internal warehouses and coordinate all operative matters
Lead and develop the team, ensuring their professional growth
Who we are looking for: University Degree in Supply Chain
Knowledge of the end-to-end Supply Chain for FMCG, with knowledge of logistics operations supporting Industrial Manufacturing operations
Understanding the Logistics Operations in the Australian market, knowledge of COR regulations
APICS certification (or substantial completion) – preferably CPIM
Track record in leading warehouse operations, or a background in manufacturing operations is preferred
Excellent communication skills (written and oral), high level interpersonal skills and sound judgment
Proven skills in team leadership, mentoring, problem solving and project management
Excellent stakeholder management, ability to deal with multiple stakeholders and handle competing priorities
Proactivity in identifying areas for improvement and taking the actions required
Experience in managing safety programs in an Industrial environment
Openness to travel with theflexibility of the working week arrangement (2 days in Plant, 3 days in Business Unit)
Advanced MS Office skills, SAP is considered a strong plus
