The Co-Group is looking for Disability and Aged Care Support Workers to join our team and work around Wyong & Lake Macquarie City Council.
As a Support Worker, you will be required to support participants with daily living activities, including (but not limited to): domestic assistance, personal care, meal preparation, community access, assisting with medication, and companionship.
This is a casual role, and all applicants must be prepared to be on-call.
Requirements: Valid Driver's Licence & access to a car NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience with Disability and/or Aged Care support Availability to work a variety of days/shift times, including minimum 2-hour shifts
What you'll do: ?? Complete all tasks relevant to support work including anything from meal preparation to domestic assistance and personal care?? Empower participants to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible?? Be a trusted and reliable point of contact for participants and their families?? Maintain detailed and accurate documentation such as shift notes, progress notes, behaviour charts and incident reports.?? Follow company policies and procedures
