About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you will assist withdaily careacross a rotating7-day schedule.
Shifts run from6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with initial2-hour buddy shiftsto ensure a smooth transition.
Key Responsibilities: Personal Care:Supporting hygiene and grooming needs.Medication Assistance:Administering medications as required.High-Intensity Supports:Tasks such as enteral feeding and complex bowel care.Well-Being Monitoring:Observing and reporting participant progress.Manual Handling:Using slide sheets, hoists, and other equipment (training provided).Compliance:Adhering to company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.Training:Attending RN-led training sessions to maintain competency.This role is unique as you'll form lasting professional relationships with the participant, their family, and your teammates.
What We're Looking For: MinimumCertificate III or IVin Disability, Community Services, or Individual Support.At least1 year of experiencein disability support work.Experience withmanual handling,PEG feeding, andmedication prompting(preferred).CurrentCPR/First Aid Certificate.ValidNDIS Worker Screening Checkor Yellow Card.CurrentAustralian Driver's Licenceand a reliable, registered, and insured vehicle.Smartphonewith internet access.Completion of theNDIS Worker Orientation Module.What We Offer: Award hourly rates:$33.28- 74.72/hour.Flexible rotating roster (Monday–Sunday).Comprehensive training and personal development opportunities.Ongoing support from an experienced Registered Nurse team and dedicated Care Manager.Paid on-boarding training.Employee discount program.Why Join Right at Home?
