Advanced Trainee Neonatal Medicine - WCH To provide inpatient and outpatient neonatal medicine services to newborns and their families across SA Health Local Health Networks under consultant supervision, including participation in an on-call roster and possible secondment to MedSTAR Kids Emergency Medical Retrieval Service.
This will include working within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Special Care Unit.
To improve outcomes for newborn infants in South Australia by participating in supervision and teaching of junior staff, reviewing evidence-based medicine, and performing clinically meaningful research.
Advanced Trainee Neonatal Medicine - FMC The Flinders Medical Centre (FMC) is one of two hospitals in South Australia that provide tertiary perinatal service to the state of South Australia and surrounding districts (Broken Hill (NSW), Mildura (Vic), and Alice Springs (NT)).
The incumbent is required to work as part of a multidisciplinary academic clinical team providing clinical services of the highest possible standard to newborn infants and their families and to actively pursue improved outcomes for newborn infants in South Australia by participating in teaching and research.
