Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary ScientistsWe have a Part-time to Full-time position available at the Cat Clinic in are a dynamic and rewarding, five vet, cat-only practice, including a Feline medicine specialist. Our clients are extremely motivated to pursue the best lifelong outcomes for their cats. We are looking for a clinician that has a desire to further their knowledge specific to general feline practice to help promote these outcomes.
We have an extremely exciting time ahead, with our established practice of 20 years relocating to a large purpose-built cat hospital in the coming months. We have a highly varied and interesting case load from routine to complex medical referral cases. Our clientele love their cats and are motivated to pursue the best in health outcomes. Our team are for cats – that is the single passion and core tenant we all share, making managing our workload that much more rewarding.
The ideal candidate will be a veterinarian with at least five years' experience working in companion animal practice and who has already showed a keen interest in pursuing a career in feline medicine. Candidates that have completed further studies or attained Memberships in Feline Medicine will have a distinct advantage in their application.
We will provide support for continued professional development in all areas of feline practice. Mentorship and support from our senior vets and medical specialist, with over 40 years of feline only clinical experience to call upon. Achieving college memberships in Medicine of Cats or further post graduate studies is promoted. We would encourage pursuit of individual professional interests, especially in surgery, dentistry and behaviour.
Remuneration is commensurate with experience. A full-time role could be negotiable for our ideal candidate and would be on offer as we move to our new hospital in August. Please send CV and letter of introduction attention of Richard Gowan - or call to discuss any aspects of this position.
