Provide student finance support as a first point of contract from the student contact centre
Base Salary $86,511 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity The successful candidate will perform general student finance support under general direction including reviewing student refunds, assisting with sponsor relationship, responding to queries, maintaining records, updating web materials and ongoing maintenance of Sydney Student receipting processes.
As the first point of contact from student contact centre, this role requires strong customer service skills to coordinate and undertake a range of operational activities on an ongoing basis.
Furthermore, this position is responsible for thoroughly analysing aged analysis reports for all Student Loan Accounts and referral of loan balances to a University defined external collection agency which are governed by polices and guidelines.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
efficiently handle various transactional activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established protocols, while contributing to process enhancements
manage diverse administrative tasks, including documentation, reporting, and content management, to maintain data integrity and enhance operational efficiency
facilitate ongoing communication with a broad range of stakeholders, proactively addressing any concerns, and collaborating with team members to continuously improve stakeholder relations
identify and resolve operational challenges, escalating complex issues when necessary, and actively participating in process improvement initiatives
ensure adherence to governance standards and policies, maintaining compliance across transactions, and actively engaging in process evaluation and enhancement efforts
administer invoice creation within Peoplesoft A/R system that complies with University of Sydney polices, guidelines and ensure financial documents and data integrity are maintained in a high volume environment under supervision
run customer statements for outstanding student debtors.
About you
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of training and experience
delivering transactional services in a large and complex organisation
experience in a high volume customer service environment
interpreting and applying policies and procedures
ability to communicate effectively with strong customer service experience.
