Key responsibilities include:
Perform a variety of feedmill, grain and site related tasks Operate computer system to control feedmill operations General grain handling, storage and site cleaning tasks Assist with weighbridge operations and accurately recording grain movements Undertake sampling, testing and classification of incoming grain products Comply with all operational, procedural and safety instructions, guidelines and training Operate plant, equipment and machinery once licensed and trained Undertake various heavy and repetitive manual handling tasks regularly throughout the shift Maintain hygiene levels in the mill in accordance with Feedsafe accreditation requirements Assist with stocktake and stock rotation duties and managing returns/non-conforming stock Assist with the loading/unloading of trucks/shipping containers as required Report all incidents as soon as possible to Supervisor/Manager Undertake further training as required Work at other work locations or complete other duties as required Key capabilities required include:
Previous manufacturing, feedmill, grain harvest and/or labouring experience is an advantage Forklift, Loader, Telehandler training, licenses and experience highly desirable Be physically fit and able to complete repetitive manual handling tasks, including lifting up to 25kgs and working in awkward positions/locations Have a safety-first mentality and be capable of working for long periods outdoors A willingness to undertake training as required Be positive, proactive, flexible and self-motivated An honest, reliable and dependable team player who is able to work effectively without supervision High level of attention to detail Mechanical/technical aptitude would be highly advantageous Shift work will be required Need to have no allergies or intolerances to organic dust and/or organic products Must be an Australian citizen or hold a valid visa with rights to work in Australia To apply, please include your resume and a cover letter outlining how you meet the key capability requirements of this role in your application.
