Key responsibilities include: Perform a variety of feedmill, grain and site related tasksOperate computer system to control feedmill operationsGeneral grain handling, storage and site cleaning tasksAssist with weighbridge operations and accurately recording grain movementsUndertake sampling, testing and classification of incoming grain productsComply with all operational, procedural and safety instructions, guidelines and trainingOperate plant, equipment and machinery once licensed and trainedUndertake various heavy and repetitive manual handling tasks regularly throughout the shiftMaintain hygiene levels in the mill in accordance with Feedsafe accreditation requirementsAssist with stocktake and stock rotation duties and managing returns/non-conforming stockAssist with the loading/unloading of trucks/shipping containers as requiredReport all incidents as soon as possible to Supervisor/ManagerUndertake further training as requiredWork at other work locations or complete other duties as requiredKey capabilities required include: Previous manufacturing, feedmill, grain harvest and/or labouring experience is an advantageForklift, Loader, Telehandler training, licenses and experience highly desirableBe physically fit and able to complete repetitive manual handling tasks, including lifting up to 25kgs and working in awkward positions/locationsHave a safety-first mentality and be capable of working for long periods outdoorsA willingness to undertake training as requiredBe positive, proactive, flexible and self-motivatedAn honest, reliable and dependable team player who is able to work effectively without supervisionHigh level of attention to detailMechanical/technical aptitude would be highly advantageousShift work will be requiredNeed to have no allergies or intolerances to organic dust and/or organic productsMust be an Australian citizen or hold a valid visa with rights to work in AustraliaTo apply, please include your resume and a cover letter outlining how you meet the key capability requirements of this role in your application.
