About the Role We are currently seeking applications for the position of Feedmill Operator based in Lundavra, QLD on a casual basis, starting in January 2025.
Ideally, you will be available for an immediate start and have prior experience working in a similar role; with a moderate level of health and fitness a requirement for this role.
You will hold a High Risk Work Licence (Forklift) and/or Confined Spaces tickets; or are willing to obtain them before commencing in the role.
Onsite accommodation will be provided to the successful applicant.
Day to day you will: Operate and maintain equipment associated with stock feed productionPerform troubleshooting and running repairs on mechanical equipmentMonitor the operation of plant equipment and systems to minimise downtime, solve problems and identify opportunities for improvementGather and report plant process parameters through regular checking of equipmentAdhere to and enforce all applicable company safety, health and environmental policies and proceduresAbout you Must have experience working with mechanical equipment (essential)Current driver's licence and forklift licence (essential)Confined Space EntryWorking at Heights (Desirable)Ability to work under pressure to meet production and customer requirementsWillingness to work flexible hours (including some weekends and public holidays)Willingness to undertake any additional training required for the roleA demonstrated professional, safe, organised and disciplined approach to workSunPork Group is an equal opportunity employer.
