What you can expect in a day in the role:
As a Full-time Sous Chef, you will have an enthusiastic and passionate attitude towards food while providing customers with a memorable experience. Working in a team that delivers made-to-order meals that are quick, fresh, and ignite the taste buds of our guests. You will also be excited to:
Bring a playful and unique approach to cooking. Help lead and inspire other chefs. Assist in creating "picture-worthy" dishes. Contribute to the day-to-day running of the kitchen. Support the refinement of menus, including planning and execution. Manage and oversee inventory and ordering processes. Maintain and ensure high standards of kitchen hygiene and safety.
What You Will Bring To This Role:
Along with a positive attitude and willingness to learn, you will have:
Dedication to provide an exceptional culinary experience for guests. Relevant trade qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or above). Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role. Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills. Demonstrated skills in training and coaching others and strong supervisory experience. Flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day roster. Australian working rights that allow at least full-time hours across a varying roster.
