Position Overview:We are looking for a creative and experienced Part-Time Copywriter to develop compelling content specifically tailored for our federal and defense sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong copywriting portfolio and a deep understanding of the nuances of federal and defense marketing. This role will involve creating a variety of content, including ad copy, eBooks, Whitepapers, infographics, video scripts, data sheets, web copy, social media posts, product one-pagers, and more.
Key Responsibilities:Develop high-quality, engaging content for federal and defense sector audiences.Write and edit ad copy, eBooks, Whitepapers, infographics, video scripts, data sheets, web copy, social media posts, product one-pagers, and other marketing materials.Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to understand content needs and objectives.Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.Optimize content for SEO and usability.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in federal and defense marketing.Requirements:Proven experience in copywriting, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in federal or defense marketing.Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Ability to create clear, compelling, and persuasive content.Strong understanding of federal and defense sector terminologies and regulations.Excellent research skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Proficiency in SEO best practices is a plus.Experience with content management systems (CMS) and digital marketing tools is a plus.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field preferred but not required.Minimum of 3-5 years of copywriting experience, with a focus on federal and defense sectors.How to Apply:If you are a talented copywriter with a passion for federal and defense marketing, we want to hear from you!
