Ongoing projects within a Darwin Onshore Processing Facility 5:2 local Darwin residents or FIFO 2:1 from Perth or Brisbane Would suit a Project Manager with a SMP background Lead the day-to-day delivery of multiple construction and remediation Oil and Gas projects in the Northern Territory.
THE ROLE Project Management/Delivery Manage all aspects of the project including contract and client management, estimating, programming of work and defect rectification Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors Manage project start-up, maintain project schedule and ensure effective handover, including holding regular project management meetings Report on project success, results, progress, and deployment of activity Maintain the project site, premises, plant & equipment Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements Employee Relations Foster channels of communication on site to engage with employees to create positive workforce culture Motivate project team and ensure accountability for delivering with efficiency and effectiveness Ensure employee performance reviews are completed, and any issues are addressed Commercial Take ownership of all commercial aspects of the project Manage and analyse project expenditure and duration Pre - Contract Engage with clients and internal subject matter experts at precontract stage to understand scope, and contribute to the tender process ABOUT YOU Along with extensive project management and delivery skills, you will have a SMP background (Structural Mechanical Piping) that includes one or more of the following:
Structural or Mechanical Engineer with Project Manager experience Planner who has worked in the field in O&G and has knowledge of Primavera You will have experience in managing projects in and around the Oil and Gas industry along with leadership skills, commercial acumen, and planning and programming skills.
