Lead client service through excellent technical solutions Who are we looking for? We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Project Management group.
At GHD, we have a strong and dedicated Project Management group, that is involved in supporting our clients in the planning and delivery of significant facility and infrastructure projects.
We provide Project Management, Design Management and Contract Administration services from inception to completion for major capital works (facilities and infrastructure) projects in Australia, focusing on national projects for clients that include the Australian Department of Defence, and the Australian Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts. We play a key role in support of GHD to deliver landmark projects across key markets that include property and buildings, transport, water, energy and environment.
Working with an energetic team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Project Management and Contract Administration of a range of complex building and infrastructure projects or programs. Working with industry leaders, and management teams involved with all aspects of successful project delivery. Building client relationships and identifying business development opportunities. Preparation of client and project proposals and responses. What you will bring to the team: Relevant tertiary qualifications and proven experience in Project Management or Contract Management. Understanding of project governance structures, construction methodologies and risk management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Diligent and self-motivated, with the ability to work as part of a team and with minimal supervision. Ideally, previous experience delivering Project Management or Contracts Management services for Defence projects or related industries within Australia. Experience in delivery of facilities infrastructure (industrial and commercial building) projects or programs is essential.
