We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation and compliance, as well as the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial information. In this role, you will provide tax advisory services, assist with tax planning, and ensure that all tax filings are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Provide strategic tax planning advice to clients, focusing on minimizing tax liabilities and maximizing tax efficiency. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements. Research and interpret tax laws and regulations, staying up-to-date on tax law changes and their implications for clients. Assist with audits and respond to IRS inquiries and notices. Work closely with senior management to develop tax strategies and solutions tailored to client needs. Supervise and mentor junior tax accountants, providing guidance and support in tax preparation and problem-solving. Assist with internal accounting processes, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasts. Manage client relationships and provide excellent customer service, addressing questions and concerns promptly. Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and financial statements in accordance with accounting standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred). 3 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on tax preparation and compliance (e.g., 5+ years preferred). CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or other relevant certifications required. In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations, as well as accounting principles. Strong research and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial data. Proficiency in tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, Thomson Reuters UltraTax, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex tax issues clearly to clients and colleagues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
