Fcaw Welder (Class 1) (15 Workers Needed)

VR Group are looking to recruit 15x FCAW Welders, based in Plymouth. This is a 3yr contract.
Essential skill requirements FCAW Welding to a coded standard
Important SC Clearance
Job description We are working with a well respected marine engineering contractor on an exciting refit project that has a 3 yr timescale.
We are looking to grow the team throughout 2025 to a total of 15 welders.
Our successful applicants will be required to complete the following tests before proceeding onto the projects.
This involves a fully paid week in the test bay:
12mm Multi-pass Fillet Vertical Up position tests (BS-EN ISO 9606-1)12mm Butt Vertical Up position tests (BS-EN ISO 9606-1)Qualifications Required NVQ Level 3 or Apprenticeship qualified and experience of FCAW welding.
Any marine/ship repair experience would be highly advantageous.
Security Clearances required Full SC Clearance
