We are seeking a dedicated Fault Centre Manager to drive operational excellence and ensure the safety and efficiency of our rail network.

About the role The Fault Centre Manager is responsible for leading and developing the Fault Centre team to ensure the efficient and effective management of infrastructure faults.
This role involves managing multiple internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a shift roster for 24/7 coverage, and ensuring the safe operation of assets across the V/Line network.
The Fault Centre Manager will also develop and implement processes and procedures, provide mentorship to staff, and drive stakeholder engagement to support operational improvements.
Key responsibilities: Lead and mentor the Fault Centre team.Manage fault and incident responses across various disciplines.Develop and maintain operational processes and procedures.Ensure 24/7 coverage through effective roster management.Drive stakeholder engagement and maintain strong relationships.Ensure all personnel are trained and competent.Oversee business reporting and contingency planning.Implement safety strategies and maintain incident logs.Analyse and monitor infrastructure coverage and resource allocation.About you We are seeking an experienced leader with a growth mindset and a robust background in fault and incident management, particularly within the rail sector.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with stakeholders at all levels.
