About the Role
As the Farm Gate Counsellor, you will provide a high quality specialist counselling service to individuals, families and agricultural groups within rural and remote communities adversely affected by natural disasters.

Where you'll be working
The Farm Gate Support Program provides mental health and emotional support to farmers, farming families, local businesses and service providers affected by the many adversities faced by regional and rural communities.
The support program is designed to meet the needs of individuals, couples and families; whether they require short term conversations and information or ongoing formal counselling options as well as an opportunity to build community cohesion.

About You
The successful candidate will have a strong dedication to regional and rural communities and the adversities they face working on the land including natural disasters such as droughts, economic pressures, infrastructure limitations, social isolation and changes in local industries.
