Due to rapid growth, a highly motivated and hands-on manager is now required to run the farm operations.RoleThis role will manage the day-to-day operations of the algae farm, including planning and staffing the daily operational output to meet the sales demand and production schedule with quality products. Other duties include:Supporting and building an effective operational teamContinually striving to improve farm efficiency, quality and outputEnsuring equipment and plant is maintained and serviceable to support the production scheduleDeveloping and implementing effective Standard Operating Procedures for farm operations and equipment maintenanceWorking with the local community to foster a solid community support environmentSupporting the farm development and improvement projects as agreedKey RequirementsTo succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate:Farm management or production management experienceTeam management and leadership experienceA strong work ethic and willingness to produceAbility to work as an effective team memberA solid commitment to quality and safetyFarm equipment operation and maintenance experiencePrefer trade, qualified Fitter or ElectricianLocationThe farm is located near Bowen, Queensland.RemunerationThis role has a competitive salary and benefits package.
