Farm Hand

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Orchard Manager, you will be responsible for: All aspects of farm work Contributing to the development and installation of irrigation systems Operating farming machinery Assisting with the herbicide and pesticide application Contributing to a positive and productive working environment Requirements You will hold a C class drivers licence (essential) You will be flexible, reliable, and available to work hours which may vary to meet operational demands (with potential for Saturday work) A positive, can-do attitude is essential You will have experienced working on a farm (preferred but not essential) A holder of a Chemical Users Certificate (preferred but not essential) Certificate II or III in Rural Studies or Horticulture or Agriculture (preferred but not essential) Benefits Benefits Award hourly rates with paid overtime in accordance with the Horticulture Award How to Apply: To be considered for this position, please submit a covering letter addressing the criteria mentioned above and your resume via our website by 1 May 2024 Please note that candidates may be evaluated before the closing date.
