Waringarri are looking for a Family Wellbeing Coordinator to oversee our family support programs currently consisting of: Children are Learning (school attendance), Youth (activities for at risk youth) and NDIS (Remote Community Connector). These programs may change as the organization develops further. The Family Wellbeing Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day operations of the programs by supporting the development and capacity of KWAC staff. This will include a strong focus on case management and reporting support, ensuring that all staff understand the importance of their roles in the community; and capacity building in all areas of community services work.
Key Responsibilities: Team Management and Leadership: Lead a team of varied roles, to achieve contract KPI's across the Family Wellbeing programs. Manage the day-to-day workings of the Family Wellbeing programs including direct staff management, liaising with stakeholders, ensuring case notes are up to date, etc.Case Management: Ensure a client database with a system of confidential record keeping of client information is maintained. This includes monitoring the use of the database and implementing improvements in line with effective data management and reporting. Mentoring staff members in case management practices and protocols. Ensure confidentiality of client records and workplace information at all times.Administration and Reporting: Maintain reporting and financial records for the programs. Work with the Team Leaders to ensure reporting is completed in a timely manner and support as needed. Meet service agreement responsibilities through service delivery, budget management, and reporting.Qualifications: Applicants must hold a tertiary level degree in education, youth work, community services, or similar.Clearances: Applicants must be able to obtain and hold a valid WWCC and police clearance.Salary: Salary is based on the SCHADS award and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.To request a full Position Description or discuss the role further, please email any queries to and a member of staff will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
