About the Role: The Team Leader is part of an integrated team, sharing responsibility for overseeing day-to-day operations with a Co-Team Leader. These roles collectively ensure the delivery of culturally sensitive, trauma-informed services in Western Melbourne and Brimbank/Melton local government areas, aligned with DFFH funding and strategic objectives. The Team Leader contributes to the broader wellbeing of clients and integrated teams in Victoria, upholding strategic goals and improving the lives of those affected by family violence.
Key Duties: Provide operational management and clinical oversight of staff practices including provision of supervision, consultation and risk management during screening, assessment and service delivery.Oversee day-to-day operations including rostering, group work, waitlist management, allocations, caseloads, performance management and professional development with guidance and support as required.Support and enable implementation of evidence-informed practice and ensure outcomes-based support to clients.Manage a small caseload and/or assist with therapeutic groups as appropriate.Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations and standards, including risk assessment frameworks.Oversee service delivery to ensure the team operates in an accountable, professional manner and with superior customer service, in accordance with legislation, guidelines and duty of care requirements.Lead operations, overseeing activities and performance management.Monitor service quality, report on delivery and maintain compliance with guidelines.Skills and Experience: Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or related fieldMinimum 2 years Team Lead experienceMinimum 12 months experience working in a Family Violence ProgramAdvanced understanding of evidence-based, therapeutic interventions and family violence theoretical frameworksComprehensive MARAM training and expertise utilising this with victim survivors and people who use violenceThorough understanding of child development and the issues that vulnerable children, young people and families face, including sound knowledge of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005.How to apply: Click 'Apply Now' and upload your CV via the appropriate linkFor any queries regarding the position or application process, please email ****** or contact (03) 9081 0562 and ask to speak to someone in the Family Services TeamTRADEWIND AUSTRALIA AND THE ORGANISATIONS WE REPRESENT ARE PROUD TO BE EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES EMPLOYERS We welcome applications from people who reflect the diversity of the organisations we partner with, and the people they support.
