An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced and dedicated professional to lead a newly established family violence refuge for women and children in Palmerston.
This service, part of Darwin's first integrated, end-to-end family violence program, collaborates closely with an established women's refuge in Darwin and a newly formed outreach team.
About the RoleAs the Team Leader, you will oversee a team of seven skilled practitioners, including case managers, children and youth specialists, intake practitioners, and support workers.
You will provide leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed crisis support and recovery services to women and children affected by family violence.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a multidisciplinary team to achieve program goals.Ensure the effective delivery of crisis response, safety planning, and case management services.Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders and service providers to enhance program outcomes.Maintain compliance with organisational policies and relevant legislation.What We're Looking ForA Bachelor's degree (mandatory).Extensive leadership experience in family violence crisis settings.Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and crisis response.Ability to foster a supportive and high-performing team environment.This is a female-only position, as per the requirements of the role.What's on OfferSCHADS Level 7 salary ($110,000 - $115,000 + super).Relocation assistance of up to $5,000, including flights, accommodation, and moving expenses.An opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a groundbreaking family violence service.If you are passionate about leading innovative services and supporting women and children impacted by family violence, we'd love to hear from you!
