About the Business Unit: Victim Services, Support and Reform (VSSR) is responsible for coordinating services for victims of crime, including an information, support and referral service through the Victims of Crime Helpline.
The Helpline offers information, support and referrals for victims of crime, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate support.
About the Role: Reporting to the Senior Family Violence Practice Lead, the Family Violence Practice Lead (FVPL) is responsible for developing and supporting family violence practice across the Helpline team, ensuring high-quality services to Victorian family violence victim-survivors seeking support.
Key Responsibilities: Providing leadership and coaching to the Helpline team to achieve high-quality service delivery to male victims of family violence.Monitoring and supporting the family violence service response by the Helpline, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.Contributing to a culture of excellence, ensuring all victims of crime receive industry-leading support.About You: As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
At least four (4) years of paid practice experience in the family violence sector.Extensive knowledge and experience in intake assessment, referral, and risk assessment activities.Demonstrated knowledge in providing effective services to victims of crime informed by best practice models.Mandatory Qualifications: A Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification.Completion of the MARAM Framework with knowledge of risk assessments.Desirable Qualifications: Training in cultural competence and frameworks for supporting diverse communities.Familiarity with case management software and reporting tools.How to Apply: Please click the Apply button on this advertisement.
