This is a unique opportunity to be part of a pilot program aimed at expanding family violence support in the area, co-located with the housing and homelessness service.What You'll Do:Manage a case load of up to 8 clients, all based in Alice Springs, focusing on women and children impacted by family violence.Work closely with the housing and homelessness services, providing specialist family violence consultations and advice.Co-manage with clients, helping them navigate their options and support.Be the only Family Violence worker in Alice Springs, providing vital, local support - no outreach to remote areas required.What We're Looking For:Ideally, someone local who is familiar with Alice Springs, its demographics, and available services.Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred - but we're open to those with direct experience in family violence, especially if you're identified within the community.Passion for making a difference in the lives of those impacted by family violence.What We Offer:Full-time 12-month contract (with potential for extension).SCHADS Level 5 salary: $97,377 - $101,783 + super + salary packaging.A supportive, collaborative work environment.The chance to be part of a pilot program that could shape future family violence support in Alice Springs.If you're ready to make a real impact in Alice Springs, we want to hear from you!How to apply:To apply, follow the link provided or apply on our website.
