Due company expansion, RAATISCC are looking for 3 x committed, skilled and passionate individual's to join our friendly RAATSICC team as a Family Support Worker - Level 3 (identified preferred) – Family Wellbeing Program - (3 x Positions)

Position Purpose:

The Family Support Worker's role is to support the Family Wellbeing Program by providing case management practices to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families to build their capacity to safely care and protect children experiencing vulnerability.
The Opportunity:

• This position is Full-time and can be based in Cairns or within the Cape York communities of Aurukun, Napranum and Lockhart River.
• Provide professional case management practices to clients experiencing violence, substance misuse, homelessness and other vulnerabilities
• Maintain client data records and adhere to confidentiality policies and practices.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders.

• Compassionate, with a strong commitment to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait families.
• Highly organised and dependable, capable of making quick, sound decisions in response to immediate needs.
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively within a team.
• Resilient and empathetic, able to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
